Tata Nano just delivered their production to first customer at Mumbai, Mr. Ashok Raghunath Vichare. The price also very cheap, just 100,000 rupees ($2,053 U.S.).Speaking on the occasion, Mr Tata said, “I hope the Tata Nano will bring motoring pleasure to those who will be buying their first car as also those who currently own cars but want a modern, contemporary, emission-friendly city car.”
Eventhough the car is cheap but the specification is good.. I hope this car will come to my country..

Do you ever heard the automaker company Tata Motors? Many of you might had seen this label in the front of some lorry that move on the road. But do you ever seen this label on a car? So, for this entry I want to introduce you with a car that was made by this Indian automaker, the Tata Nano.

Tata Nano using a very small engine, even smaller than the Malaysian car, the Perodua Kancil 660. The Tata Nano using a 2 cylinder 624 cc engine that was assisting with the SOHC, multi-point fuel injection engine. This engine boost maximum power of 33 hp @ 5250 RPM and maximum torque of 35 lbs.ft @ 3000 RPM. This engine output was transferred by the 4-speed manual transmission and the rear wheel drive configuration.

It is not enough to review a car if the performance on the track didn’t be mentioned. The top speed of the Tata Nano had been estimated at 75 mph (120 kph) and the acceleration of 0-43 mph (70 kph) in 14 seconds and the acceleration from 0-62 mph was recorded in 33 seconds. It’s just not great but it is good for a car in this class.

Even it is only a cheap urban vehicle but the manufacturer still concern about the comfort of the passengers. For the front, the standard McPherson strut suspension system had been used and for the rear, the independent coil spring suspension system had been used. For driver, the mechanical rack and pinion steering had been used. Because it is recognized as an economical vehicle, the fuel efficiency of the car also will be revealed. The fuel efficiency of this car is 23.6 km/L. What? Isn’t it just too economic? It’s just like you riding a motorcycle. So, do you think this specification of the Tata Nano really lures you to buy this car? If still don’t, just take a look at the images below.
