Nissan
Two design Nissan Micra 2010 sketches released by the Nissan .Designed to be sold around the world, the new Micra will retain the current car’s front-engined, front-wheel drive layout, while three- and five-door bodystyles are expected to be offered. These sketches show a Micra looking rather toned and rakish, a stark contrast to the current car’s cute-as-a-button design ethic. The car will first be launched in Thailand and Nissan eventually plans to sell it in more than 150 countries, one of which may be the U.S.

No details have been released apart from these sketches but previous reports have suggested that the new minicar is the replacement for Nissan’s popular Micra hatchback.A range of fuel efficient engines will power the new Micra, including a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel.
Russia and Brazil are most likely due to the positive outlook for BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) economies in coming years.
Nissan Motor (Thailand) announced that the compact model would qualify as the country’s first ‘eco-car’.
